High mountain dirt road, 4x4, quad, motorcycle, 5335 ft elevation. very short walk from the dirt road.
We placed this cache while looking for the "Ahhh Cache" we didn't find that, but we thought the location and drive were so beautiful that not sharing it would be a crime.
The cache is an Ammo Box, that is just a short walk from the dirt road, the problem is that you really won't like the dirt road that much. If you know how to drive your 4x4 you won't have any problems. If you are wanting to run 2wd, you won't probably make it unless you have some kind of "May the Force be with you" kind of karma.
See the photo attached, and you will realize the beauty. You can see the desert miles below from there. You can also see the cache spot, but the picture won't help you find it.
There are cattle grazing near, so please respect the cattle owner by not messing with them, this is BLM land, but somebody has a grazing permit.
These are the high desert mountains. Breaking down out here will leave you miles from any kind of help. I did have coverage with my Verizon phone, but you may not. Carry food, water, warm clothing/blankets, and certainly be watchful of the normal desert hazards such as snakes, scorpions, other stinging insects, and cactus. Use your judgement, have plenty of fuel.
