This Cache is hidden on the pinnacle of the Montague pass, just outside George. The pass is a well kept dirt road, and accessible by normal car - However, do take note that heavy rains might make the road slippery, but not unsafe at all.
Let me take you to a beautifull location that will lead you to the highest point of the Montagu Pass. This is the old, and alternative pass to the better known Outeniqua pass (tarred).
From the location of the cache you will view the Outeniqua pass, the train pass, and the winding road of the Montagu pass. In the distance George and the coast is clearly visible. This Pass links the coastal area with the Klein Karoo, and is accessible from George side or Outshoorn/ Uniondale side.
The piece of road on the Karoo side is slightly better, but not nearly as scenic (as the George side winds through the indigenous forest, with many beautiful places to view – Stop and look around!)
From the George side you will pass by the “old Toll house”, past the river and under the train bridge. There is a little car park at the top with the name "Harold Conservancy" were you can park. From there you can follow your GPS in the direction of the cache. There is a nice foot road that you can follow. This foot road will take you past 3 graves. Eventually you will leave the foot road and follow your GPS slightly downhill to the cache, hidden between the white rocks.

Plastic container, roughly the size of a 2L ice cream container, wrapped in a green plastic bag.
