Geocache Description:

Cache is located at the Dudley Farm Historic State Park. It does not require entrance to the park. Cache container is attached to a wooden wall, so don't try to remove it. Simply open the cache's lid and remove the plastic bag which holds the swag and logbook. If you have time to visit the park please do. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The park is open Wednesday thru Sunday 09:00 AM to 5:00 PM and the Farmstead is open Wednesday thru Sunday 09:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The cache is a small container made of steel. It has an official Geocache Sticker on the outside. Muggle traffic can be heavy at times so use stealth in grabbing and replacing the plastic bag. Plan to visit this location not only to grab this cache but to visit this historic working farm. The park staff wears 1800's period clothing, performs daily chores, raises crops and tends to livestock. There are 18 buildings, including the family farmhouse, a general store, post office and a functional cane syrup complex. This is a rare historic park, so make sure you protect it by not taking or leaving anything there that would detract for its historical appearance. There are no caches inside the park because the park manager wants to keep modern items out of this historical park to preserve its authenticity.
