Two Way Tunnel Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

doctor scotland: Cache has gone, unfortunately with a trackable.
Sad to see this one go, but thanks to all the previous visitors!

I don't wish to reinstate the cache, as it seems to have been pinched, and probably would be again.

I'm pleased that so many people got to view this location and find the cache!

Geocache Description:

The cache location is situated about half a mile from the edge of Eastville Park in Bristol – beside the River Frome.

There are a number of entry points, and public footpaths that could take you there – if you require a map, a good one can be found at -

http://getamap.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/getamap/frames.htm
Type in the following grid reference to give you an idea of where you should be heading – ST61857598.
The cache is at the centre of the map.

To find the cache you will need a torch as it has been placed in a short tunnel through rocks.
You should be able to find it though, without getting dirty!

Should you travel from Eastville, a walk across the park will lead you to the pond – with plenty of ducks and swans to throw bread at!
Follow the path up the river to the weir along a pushchair friendly path and you wont be too far away.

Near the cache location, be aware of the deep water, and look out for Kingfishers flying over the river. I saw one shortly after placing the cache!

Please remember to cover the cache as you (hopefully) have found it.
