NE IL Always #1 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

eyeseeit: Sorry, but I have to archive this. I cannot in good conscience own a listing of this type. These caches are a good example of what caching was never intended to be. My only regret is ever having placed one of these in the first place. No one learned anything. No one went for a walk. No one came and saw soneting of value. No one was challenged with the cleverness of the hide, the trickiness of the hunt or the uniqueness of the container. No one solved a puzzle. The only good that has come from these is the inflation of find counts, and the game was never intended to be abou that, now was it?
I will not hide these, and I will not hunt them either from this point forward.
Thank you for understanding. You can play the game any way you want... that is some of the beauty of it, I just can't be a part of some of it.

Geocache Description:

A fast and easy micro hidden Colorado-style in keeping with a cache series located in central Florida.

In my business travels to central Florida I have hunted a series of caches called Always #. They are all 35m film cans hidden is a similar style at a familiar, frequently visited, high muggle traffic location. I have hidden this one here in NE IL as a way to bring the cache idea here. If you have hunted any of the Always caches in FL you will note that I have altered the hide location. This change puts the hide in an area with a few less muggle eyes and a bit of a tougher hunt.

I have chosen to adjust the hide style to fit our climate and environment. The hide style used here is one I have christened “Colorado style”. I first experienced this hide styl in the Denver area. A cache on the south side of Denver (GCMNBK, Evercache by Cachemonkeys) so frustrated me, requiring 3 hunts on 3 separate trips to the state, that in a nod of respect to the hider I had to hide something at home in this manner. Terrain is 1.5 as the ground is not level. Difficulty is a 2 due to the fact that the hide style is so foreign to this area. If, once we have a few finds, you all think the difficulty level should be lowered, please let me know.
