Geocache Description:


In this area you will find an unusual monument to the humble apple. This commemorates the history of the local area as an orcharding district. Near the posted co-ords you will find a "Serving the Community" notice board. Use the information here to find the co-ords of the cache site.
The cache is located in the Fruit Growers Reserve and there is an interesting museum of some of the machinery used on the orchards. Also a playground for kids and some open space for geodogs.
