Over the past few years there have been a number of commerative quarters issued by the mint. For a long time the 1974 "Mountie" quarters were the only different ones, but in 1999 there was a series, and another in 2000. Special occasions since then have produced more, until now it is not uncommon to find a commerative quarter in your wallet.
This cache used to contain some of these quarters for trading. Unfortunately, due to it being muggled again, the camo being removed by tree trimmers, and now winter opening everything up, I've just put a micro container and log sheet in place without quarters to trade.
The cache is in a rather exposed area, so please be sure to camoflauge it as you found it to keep it from becoming someone's pocket change.
April 24, 2007 - This cache became a micro after its first muggling, and it looks like it will be a micro from now on. I had thought it might return to being a "small" when the leaves came back out to provide cover, but wow, the tree pruners did a real job on the hiding spot this spring. All natural cover around the cache has been removed so summer may not make any difference for a few years. Anyway, a micro is available again for logging, but if it gets re-muggled I may have to see if any better spots are available nearby. Please rehide it as best you can.
