The cache is near a scenic overlook on Horsepond Mtn. Its a small Lock n Lock container so don't bring anything too large to exchange.
There are a number of ways to approach this. From the north (Greenwood Lake Turnpike) via the Horsepond Mtn Trail, from the west (Burnt Meadow Rd) via the Burnt Meadow Trail and from the east (Lake Riconda Dr.) via the Stone Town Circular Trail. NYNJTC map #21 shows all the routes.
Personally I think the approach from Greenwood Lake Turnpike is the nicest of the bunch.
