Geocache Description:

Small lock-n-lock conatiner located along HWY 2 in Halsey.

Working westward on HWY 2 now from Broken Bow. This cache is located across from the Nebraska National Forest where I like to visit when I need to escape to an area with trees. Like most days it never fails that one or both of my kids and/or mr.lissie calls to see what I am doing. You CANNOT get phone reception past Merna nor in the forest but for some reason this small pullout you can connect with those who are looking for you. A while back I dubbed this the "cell phone stop". If you decide to take this journey westward along HWY 2, be warned: BRING YOUR OWN MUSIC! It can be a long drive if you aren't into "elevator" music. I have made that mistake numerous times! The cache container is completely concealed from view with natural coverings but shouldn’t be too hard to find as it is hidden in the usual fashion. Please recovered well so it will not be discovered.
