Near the summit of Pony Hill. Cache is about 210m from track.
(Track, at this point is nearly 4WD only even in summer due to deep
ruts.)
For those that wish to walk and enjoy the forest 'Walk #25' on
the WalkGPS site starts at the Mt Observation
picnic area on the northern summit of Mt Observation and passes
nearby. Two other caches have been placed near this walk.

More adventerous walkers can extend the walk to Mt Talbot and
visit a cache placed on the northern slopes of Mt Talbot.

Extending to Mt Talbot adds approximately 8km.
