Several of us, including Blizzard,
WaterWeasel, The Outlaw, and more, have been talking (nay,
MOANING!) about the proliferation of puzzle caches in the
Austin area. A few (filler&bcat, HiDude_98, GeoMire, and
Stratman) are gloating about writing puzzles that many of us
can't solve. FAR MORE (including this event's owner!) are
looking for ANY HELP WE CAN GET to solve them. The result is
that we decided to get all our gray matter together in one
place to SOLVE PUZZLES! It is our fervent hope that we'll
have one of our infrquent bad weather days for doing this,
but even if the weather is perfect for caching, we'll BE
THERE to solve puzzles (and maybe to chase a few
afterwards).
SO, if
puzzles are your downfall, if you have spent more to pay off puzzle
solvers in the last 6 months than you have on gasoline, or if you
just want to come laugh and gloat at the puzzle-challenged, then
put this on your calendar! Don't visit the current coords unless
you want to say hi to some fellow cachers' cinch bugs! Just keep
this event on your watchlist and we'll let you know the time and
place.
UPSHOT! UPDATE! UPROAR!
The date of
the event has been pushed out ANOTHER week ... you didn't miss it
yet! The event will be at High Noon and we'll meet out on the
patio, assuming we continue to have this nice weather.
All you
have to do to find the event is subtract 10.542 from the listed
Longitude and subtract 3.753 from the listed Latitude. For those of
you who didn't learn ciphering, the address is in the hint.

Some folks
learned last weekend that unexpected (and not so nice) things can
