Geocache Description:

A small, brightly colored, Christmas tin about the size of a pop can. You do not have to go down to the bank of the canal.

These waterfalls are used by The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago to introduce additional oxygen into the Cal-Sag canal with the goal in mind to promote life in the canal.

Since it was built is has been a popular spot for wedding pictures as well as providing trails along the canal.

I had often driven by this area and was always curious and one day stopped by with a few friends. One thing led to another and soon this cache was in place.
