Join NEFGA for a fun weekend of camping along with food, finds and
fellowship. We will be camping in the group camping area of
Ralph
E. Simmons State Forest. The campground is available from
the afternoon of Friday, March 24th until the afternoon of
Sunday, March the 26th. ALL cachers are welcome to participate
in the activities whether they camp or not. The camping is
primative.
For those camping on Friday night there will be a night caching
activity. On Saturday, there will be a scavenger hunt game
involving an excursion into Southern Georgia. This will be a little
different than our previous "Locationless" style scavenger hunts as
your team will need to return with a physical item. Some of these
items will be placed in area caches. Some you may have to purchase
in local shops. Some you might just need to find laying around.
There will be a barbeque afterwords. Details to follow.
Sunday we will do some group hikes to the Caches in Ralph E.
Simmons State Forest.
Participants are urged to form teams. When you post, please
post whether you will be camping and, if so, which nights. The
camping is primative (and yes, I know I already said that).
