In 1750, horse racing came to Upper Marlborough and attracted many from the surrounding area. For 250 years, the town has been the equestrian capital of Southern Maryland. According to George Washington’s diary, he was one of the first to wager money at this track. The track is now closed for wagering but many equestrian events are still held at this facility.
The cache is located on M-NCPPC property and there is no fee to access the area of the cache.
