Geocache Description:

Hunt for the key among the departed.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Cemeteries can be scary, uncomfortable, sad, or interesting. Cemeteries can speak volumes with just a name and a couple of dates. Dates like 1914-1917, 1918, 1939-1945, etc, these dates speak volumes. The four cemeteries I chose are some that I feel are interesting. The first is a little country cemetery, the second is a big fairly modern cemetery, and the third is filled with Morgantown history but still very active today, while the final cemetery is a lonely and little one with many nameless and dateless markers but few headstones . So take some time and look around these fascinating records of time, please be respectful, these people are fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters. You need to find the year these folks left us. The century is NOT important for this hunt.

The final, main cache can only be opened with a key.

Stage 1: Begin your hunt at the above coordinates to get the first part of the key. Look for H. Calo.

Stage 2: Your 2nd hunt is at N39° 36.771' W79° 56.935'. At these coordinates find Agnes H, Hogue.

Stage 3: To find the coordinates for the main cache, you must proceed to N39°37.356' W79°57.825' and do a puzzle.
In Memory of "our Sons" "our Women". (as before, century is not important)
(D-B+C+A) (D+C) (A+A+C) (D+C) (A+B+C) (B) (A)
(D-C) (D+C) (B-A-C) (B-A) (C+C+A) (D) (B)

Final Stage: Here is where your key and coordinates from Stage 1 - 3 will come in handy. The master of the key may prove to be a bit of a challenge. But, with patience, you will be granted access. You may have to re-enter the key to close the master. When done, please make sure to fully close, scramble and put cache back as you found it.

Good Luck!!
