Saxon Quadrangle Traditional Cache

This cache is placed in the Saxon Quadrangle of California. It is the third in an intermittent series of caches that are placed near the site for which the 7.5'x7.5' quadrangle was named.

Saxon is a former populated place in Yolo County, California. It was located at N 38º 26' 56" W 121º 39' 19". Saxon is now part of the open space that is the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area. The sign, at the cache location, says you must obtain permission to enter the Wildlife Area. It is not necessary to enter either the Wildlife Area or the adjacent private property to access this cache.
