Geocache Description:

A micro hidden near a scenic spot on Summer Rest Trail...

North Carolina's state motto is "Esse Quam Videri", which translates to "To Be Rather Than To Seem". We've taken the motto for our great state, thrown it into reverse, and created this cache: Videri Quam Esse (To Seem Rather Than To Be). That's right...you're looking for an imposter!

A parking area for the Summer Rest Trail can be found in front of the Port City Chop House at N 34 13.359 W 077 49.204. The cache can also be accessed via Summer Rest Road, but parking can be a challenge in this area.

****EXTRA BONUS EXCITEMENT!**** We have learned that there is a Letterbox stashed near the cache. The fact that we did not know of its existence is a real testament to our own buffoonery! If you find something with a stamp inside, we congratulate you on finding the Letterbox. Now get back to work on the cache!!
