Geocache Description:

Ammo can, stocked with stuff.
Watch out when crossing the creek, depending on where you cross the mud can be pretty bad. You can come from down by the creek or from near the top. Not really child friendly the last 30-40 feet or so.

For the majority of my life I didn't like country music. Maybe I wasn't exposed to it enough, maybe I was just exposed to crap. I don't know.
Even after moving to Texas I never really listened to it either.
Then a couple of things happened. I got fed up with the rock music I was listening too, or more to the point the rock stations I was listening to. And the other thing was that I started having severe relationship problems. These 2 things conspired to drive me to listen to country stations. Something just clicked and I started listening to it more often than not. I think country music is the perfect genre to talk about love and relationships gone bad. Much more than any other musical genre. This song was the first one that really spoke to me. That made me think "That's exactly how I feel". And it got me listening to Dwight Yoakam who I think is a country music genius.
.
My kids make fun of my love of Dwight Yoakam music by calling him White Yogurt. I almost named the cache that.

The lyrics to "Guitars, Cadillacs, Hillbilly Music"

Girl you taught me how to hurt real bad
and cry myself to sleep
You showed me how this town can shatter dreams
Another lesson about a naive fool that came to babylon
And found out that the pie don’t taste so sweet

Chorus:
Now it’s guitars, cadillacs and hillbilly music
And lonely, lonely streets that I call home
Yeah my guitars, cadillacs and hillbilly music
Is the only thing that keeps me hanging on

There ain’t no glamor in this tinseled land
of lost and wasted lives
And painful scars are all that’s left of me
But thank you girl for teaching me brand new ways to be cruel
And if I can find my mind now, I guess I’ll just leave

Chorus:
And it’s guitars, cadillacs and hillbilly music
And lonely, lonely streets that I call home
Yeah my guitars, cadillacs and hillbilly music
Is the only thing that keeps me hanging on
