Bluegrass Reviewer: Greetings from Geocaching.com

It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While
we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block
other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable
amount of time, we can't do so forever. Therefore we are archiving this
cache so that someone else can place a cache in the area and geocachers
can once again enjoy visiting this location. If you haven't done so
already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.

If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please
e-mail me in response to this archival, and I will unarchive your cache.

I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to
geocaching in the past and look forward to seeing your caches up and
running in the future.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Nice long family hike along Elkhorn Creek. Might be hard for a stroller to get by, but we took a five year old and he did just fine.

Start/park at Great Crossings Park. Trail is paved for short part of the way, then dirt. Some uneven spots, but an easy stroll for the most part. There are even some old benches to rest on if you need to (but watch out for splinters!) Old cow pasture on one side, beautiful Elkhorn Creek on the other - what could be bad?

8/11/06 ETA: Using the Geocaching rating system, we have changed the terrain rating from "1.5" to "2": "Suitable for small children. Terrain is generally along marked trails, there are no steep elevation changes or heavy overgrowth. Less than a 2 mile hike required." Definitely NOT any harder than that. Take your time and enjoy the view!

Our Girl Scouts had a great time hiding this cache, and can't wait to check on it in the spring.
