Eine Wanderung von etwa 4,5 km und 620 Hm zur hoechsten Erhebung im Westen des Attersees ( Dauer in etwa 2h bis zum Gipfel)

A hike from 4,5 km and 620 Hm to the highest point in the west side of lake Attersee. ( Duration: 2h to the top).

Teil 2 einer Serie in xy Teilen namens AMI (Aufi Muaß I - mir fiel nichts besseres ein ;).

Unschwierige Bergtour auf Forststraßen oder bezeichneten Wegen.

Mit 1134m erhebt sich die Hochplettspitze über Unterach.bei N47 48.570 E 13 29.600 befindet sich ein Parkplatz. Geht man von hier 200m Richtung Westen erreicht man den Karrenweg Richtung Edelkastanienwald. Dieser geht bald in einen Wanderweg über.
Weiter Richtung Jubiläumsbaum (der Cache dort lädt zu einer kurzen Rast ein) geht der Weg dann gut 2km bergan bis man auf eine Forststrasse trifft. Nach Querung dieser geht es bergauf bis zu einer Unterstandshütte (man kann aber auch der Forststrasse folgen), von hier 500m auf der Forststrasse bis der Wegweiser die letzten 20 Minuten zum Hochplettspitz anzeigt.

Begib dich zum Gipfel,den Cache findest du keine 10m vom Kreuz in nördliche Richtung bei N 47 49.329 E 013 28.163.
Im Logbuch findest du eine Zahl für den Bonuscache der AMI-Serie (Teil 1 ist der Schoberstein)

Alternative für den Rückweg (etwas länger): Man folgt der Forststrasse (N 47 41.136/ E 13 29.298 - von hier sind es ca. 7 km bis zum Parkplatz) Richtung Brückelstube bis man nach etwa 3,5 km zum Egelsee gelangt (auch dort soll ein Cache gesichtet worden sein) . Von hier aus folgt man den Weg am Egelsee vorbei über den Druckerhof (Einkehrmöglichkeit mit Panoramablick) zurück zum Edelkastanienwald.

Ab dem Egelsee besteht ein Fahrverbot(gilt auch für Bikes)

Easy mountain tour on forest roads or designated ways.-Part 2 of the AMI Series

With 1134m the Hochplettspitze rises over Unterach.At N47 48.570 and E 13 29.600 is a parking lot. From here go 200m in western direction, from there follow the way to Edelkastanienwald. This changes soon into a trail. You reach the anniversary tree ( Jubiläumsbaum take a short break by the cache there?) .Follow the path approx. 2km uphill until a forest road. Traversing this goes it uphill up to a shelter hut (you can follow also the forest road). From here follow the forest road 500m until the signpost shows the last 20 minutes to the Hochplettspitz.

Go to the summit - the Cache find you 10m from the cross in northern direction at N 47 49.329/ E013 28.163.
In the log you find a number for the Bonuscache of the AMI series (part 1 is Schoberstein)

Alternative way back (somewhat longer): Follow the forest road (N47 41.136/ E 13 29,298 - from here its approx.. 7 km up to the parking lot) in direction Brueckelstube - after approximately 3.5 km you arrived at the Egelsee (there should be also a Cache). From here on follow the way past the Egelsee over the Druckerhof (rest possibility with panorama view) back to the Edelkastanienwald.
At the forest road is driving prohibited (also for bikes)
