Turtle Letterbox Hybrid Cache Letterbox Hybrid

This cache has been archived.

Momma Owl: The cache was there but I decided I've checked it one too many times and I'll give someone else a turn at the area. Thus I recoved the cache and the turtle at the first stage. The turtle will come home and live at the Owlery. The very real looking plastic turtle is special to me. I picked it up at the North Carolina Zoo. So now I feel good knowing it is safe, but I do hope others have enjoyed it.

Geocache Description:

A turtle? What turtle? I don't see any turtles!

I don't think we have any turtles in our area but I think turtles and turtle stamps are so cute I had to do a turtle hybrid.

This is a TWO STAGE cache. The coordinates for the actual cache are on the first stage at the posted coordinates. Please leave stage one mostly UNcovered or it will be too hard to find but cover the actual cache well or it could easily be muggled. When you are done check to make sure it can't be seen from the trail between the trees.

If you don't know what a letterbox hybrid is please see GCT261 for information and please come prepared with a stamp to stamp the log and your own logbook to stamp with the turtle stamp. Otherwise you can just sign the log like a normal cache.

The first stage might be hard to find. It is about 4 inches and is in plain site but it blends in well.

This cache is on the Provo River Parkway. Enjoy the walk.
