The Treasure Valley Cacheaholics Anonymous Meeting is a reoccurring event on the First Tuesday of the Month.

Idaho Geocachers

You are invited to attend the Treasure Valley Cacheaholics Anonymous Meeting. For those of you out there that may (or may not) have a geocaching problem, this is the event for you. This is a way to get out and meet Treasure Valley cacher's and share stories from the trail.

This month’s event will focus on the negative news that Geocaching in Idaho has received. The Idaho Statesman and the Boise Weekly have painted Geocaching as an activity that may easily be mistaken as Terrorism. What some people may not know is that we are now in close contact with the Boise City Police Bomb Squad and other Government Agencies to make sure this sport is not banned. I’m sure there will be lively discussion about this subject.

You don't have to be a Treasure Valley resident to join us. Just come out and have some fun. If you have Travel Bugs, bring them and trade with the other attendees.

NOTE – If you are part of a Government Agency that would like to learn more about Geocaching in Idaho, please come and join us. We would be happy to answer any questions.

To log the cache, show up at the event between the hours of 7:00pm and 10:00pm and sign the Official Cacheaholics Anonymous (Not So Anonymous) Log Book. This event is open to all ages.
