Geocache Description:

A small cache not far from a field where Archery and Golf practice took place simultaneously.

This cache was created by Deedon4 but, at Deedon4's request, was adopted by Sycamore90 on December 17, 2009. Later, mommanherJs was the cache owner for about 2.5 years before Sycamore90 returned.

A group authorized to use the field for archery practice were often at odds with a golfer who would like to practice in the same field - at the same time. This, in spite several signs at the field prohibiting golf practice there. The archers, not wanting to lose the option to practice there (as probably would have happened had anyone - even the golfer - been injured during their practice) would wait for the golfer to leave or at least get out of range.

It kinda makes you wonder what would happen if the archers and the golfer were actually to practice in the same area at the same time.

NOTE: If archers are present when you come upon the area, please come back another time FOR YOUR SAFETY. The archers would see you and stop practice but then they become muggles and will no doubt be watching you as you seek the cache. The practice (in the past) has only been on Tuesday afternoons from 5:30 to dusk. This is not a guarantee it won’t change, but it won’t be every day.
