Welcome to the 3rd Annual Mid Island Geocachers Get
together
This year it is called
The Mid Island Cache STAMPede
Due to the location size, at this time ( it may
change in the near future) I will have to limit it to the first 40
teams that "sign up".
If you
would like to be there on April Fools
day, Please email me through my profile.
PLEASE include your email addy, real name and
telephone # in the e-mail. Also. a "Will Attend" on this
page will be helpful too.
You might want to "watch this page" so that you have all
the latest news on the event.
Last year we charged $10.00 per person or 20 per
family...half of that money went to prizes and the other half went
to offset the cost of running the event. This year I would
like to try something a little different. I'll only charge 10
dollars per person/family and ask for a "Donation" of a
prize worth 5 to 10 Dollars( if you have a business that can donate
prizes then buy all means bring them too)...This way everyone will
be guaranteed to go home with something. If everyone that
shows up is willing to bring a prize, I may be able to allow more
then 40 teams to attend... It makes it hard for me to get the right
amount of prizes if I don't know how many people are
coming. Please let me
know what you
think.

sort of Geo/Outdoors thingy)

A lunch or a potluck dish to

- I have settled on
a time... If everyone could be there by 1030, we should be
registered and ready to start at 1100.
- I'm buying the
stuff needed to make the event work... Please email me for my addy
to send the loot.
UPDATE
As of today (Mar/15/06) there are 40 teams
registered for the event. I really hate to close the sign-ups
but if I don't the event may get too big for what I have
planned. If there are any cancellations I will try and get
more teams in
