Geocache Description:

This is a simple but not easy two part cache. The first coords lead you to the final resting place of two Tennessee Civil War Soldiers. Take the year they were laid to rest and add 89. Replace the XX.XX in the following coords with this number and that will lead you to the cache.
N33*XX.XX2’ W084*37.174’

Turin's Tranquil Cemetery. This cemetery was first connected to a Methodist church in the 1820s. As well as the two Tennessee Civil War soldiers buried here there are a number of marked and over 200 unmarked grave sites. Some of the graves sites date back into the early 1800’s and many sites are simply marked with stones standing on edge. If you venture into the woods behind the clearing you will find many grave sites through out the woods, please be careful of the un-named head stones in the woods.

Cousins Bobby Lee and Grady run moonshine for their Uncle Jesse. Jake Rainey is a big business moonshiner who controls these parts for New York mobsters. Jake wants Uncle Jesse to throw in with the rest of the moonshiners. Does this movie plot sound familiar? Tranquil Cemetery was one of the locations used in filming the movie “Moon Runners” written and directed by Gy Waldron in 1973. Moon Runner was the forerunner of the 1975 Gy Waldron television series "The Dukes of Hazzard."

The cache is an ammo box. Please walk down the dirt road on the North side of the cemetery to the cache site. Thanks.
