Geocache Description:

This cache is disguised as a common object that is part of the location and it will test your skills of observation.

This cache is placed in a location where you will be watched closely by lots of neighborhood kids. This cache is placed with the permission of the owner (me) and I will be watching you too. Enjoy the view of the Historic house which was built in 1904.

Don't let your hopes down when looking for this cache for this is the W.C. Austin house and he is known as "The Father of Oklahoma water resources and reclamation."

W.C. Austin, was an early state pioneer, judge, lawyer and public servant. Beginning in 1934, he dedicated the last 12 years of his life to lead, sponsor and organize the community effort to develop the dam and irrigation project, which affected 52,000 acres of dry farm land in Jackson, Greer and Kiowa counties.

The Lake Altus-Lugert dam was dedicated in his memory at a public ceremony, and the Altus-Lugert Irrigation Project, was renamed the W.C. Austin Project in 1947 by an act of Congress.

This cache is placed on My own property with my permission and it is OK to have Geocachers here.

Enjoy your day and thanks for looking.
