Historic cache
The
First Baptist
Uley Chapel was the first Baptist church
built in South Australia.
Unfortunately due to vadalism the church was
demolished on the 10th March 1981
It was built in 1851 by Moses Galick a
Pioneer Settler and lay preacher.
He named the area Uleybury after his home
village of Uley in England.
