She in this case was water....
I thought given the terrain rating of UYHH#3A I'd try and include an easier one for the less bush inclined. Well it is a bit easier but not as easy as I'd hoped for due to the effects of time.
This cache assumes you have read the history from UYHH#3A . Water was channeled around the mountain to the dam via a small open channel made of concrete sections and in a few parts pipes. The cache is found near some of this channel on crown land.
Recommended entry is via a number of routes:
1. A track leading west near the monolithic concrete park sign as you head up the road to cement creek. When you find the old boom gate you know your on the right track. After that take the up hill track. Much timber has fallen across the track so carefully work your way around / over it. The first 50 meters from the main road is probably the hardest part.
2. Continue up the main road past the above location until you round a bend with 2 pine trees, one of which has been cut down. Park here and look for a track leading west that follows the old hydro channel. This by nature is the most level approach but is longer and the first 150 meters is the most over grown but is there after not to bad at all.
GZ has rather poor reception but shouldn't be too hard to find.
It is recommended to make your exit via one of the above routes as if you follow the channel further west you will find yourself in private property after about 300 meters
The cache is a 1 litre Sistema box with a few small swaps and log book..
