Geocache Description:

A fairly easy find

This cache is so named because as a child I used to collect wild onions in this area in the spring. I'm sure there must be some around still, come spring. This area was also part of General Billy Mitchell's estate way back in the 30's and 40's. In fact if, after finding the cache you cross the creek to the north you'll find the only remnant of the old baseball diamond in the form of a backstop fence and to the northeast of that is a line of trees that extend up to the road (Rita Drive). These trees formed part of Billy Mitchell's horse path leading over to the Manor on Fillmore Drive.
