Geocache Description:


The Original Webster's Fall Hike Cache was one of the first ones I found.
I believe it was one of the ones that got me hooked on caching.
I really enjoy the area, and wanted to place a cache so others can explore it as well.

From the parking lot, cross the bridge over the falls, and then go down the stairs.
Your starting point is the bottom of Webster's Falls in Greenville (about 20 minutes from Hamilton).
Follow the Bruce trail for about 500 metres to find the cache.

To get to Webster's falls follow the 403 to Hamilton and take the Main St W. exit.
Turn right onto Cootes drive and follow it as it changes in to King St, then Highway 8 West and then Brock Rd.
In Greenville turn right on to Harvest Rd.
Then turn right onto Short Rd.
This will take you to Webster's Falls.
There is a charge to park your car at the park so bring some cash.
Go to the bottom of the falls and pick up the trail.

Your GPS will likely give you some grief in the Gorge but if you follow the gorge and stay on the trail you shouldn't have any problems finding the cache.

Spencer Gorge Conservation area (visit link)

Located in Dundas on Fallsview Road, this area is open to public from
9:00 a.m. to sundown.

As all area cachers may or may not know a permit is required to place a cache on Hamilton Conservation Lands.
The process was very quick.
