This is BB's 31st cache.
This Conservation Park protects a remnant of the River Red Gum
lined swamps that were widespread in the South East of South
Australia. The park contains a wide variety of plant associations
and bird habitats, with 370 plant species and 97 bird species being
recorded here.
There is a 2.5 km nature walk to pass the time away in this rather
special place.
Plants you may see include Brown Stringybark, River Red Gums, Water
Ribbons, Running Marsh Flowers, Common Fringe Myrtle, Flame Heath
and Spider Orchids.
Birds that live in the park include Red Tailed Black Cockatoo,
Restless Flycatchers, Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoo, Herons, Ibis,
Swamphens and Magpie Larks.
