A series of
"little" (sub-micro) caches celebrating the often forgotten Mom and
Pop businesses which seem to have been lost to the convenience and
eficiency of major chain stores that spelled their doom. Some of
these caches will introduce you to businesses which, though they
may not thrive, they still manage to cling to the rope for now,
while others will show the remnants of those which have surrendered
to "progress".
This cache can be
found "halfway between nowhere and nowhere else". The lot is
overgrown and the building seems to have been forsaken by its
proprietor. I don't know when the last customer walked through
these doors or who their favorite musician was but I'll bet that
they listened to them on vinyl. I can imagine walking out of a shop
similar to this one with a stack of 45's (sorry to those cursed
with never having known anything other than compact discs for their
music) and a fresh needle for my turntable and smile.
Be advised,
this cache is very small and you do not have to enter any
building, dig, or remove anything to find it. Log only, make sure
you bring a pen and replace it exactly as you found
it.
