Geocache Description:

The co-ordinates are not for the cache itself but a nearby place where people like to pull over in their cars to explore the area (usually with dogs).

The cache is situated in an attractive part of Thorn Wood - this is a newly established area where there are not a lot of woods....but certainly plenty of Thorns !!! I hope you enjoy solving the puzzle below and then the agreeable perambulation.

In order to identify the cache co-ordinates you need to solve this 'Suduko-Kakuru ' puzzle.

Basic rules are as follows:

  • The digits 1 to 9 must each appear once, and only once, in each 9 cell box, each row and each column.
  • The sum of the cells in each coloured group must add up to the total indicated. No repeating digits are allowed in any one coloured group.

The cache co-ordinates are given by the following expression:

N(B3)(A4)°(C7)(A3).(I9)(B5)(F2)

W(E9)°(D9)(I7).(D6)(F7)(C4)

The numbers in brackets are grid-references to cells in the puzzle.
