Geocache Description:

This is another place that i like to walk my dogs Poppy & Eric.

Faringdon Folly is built on Faringdon Hill to the east of the town.
Lord Berner's employed some of his estate workers to build the folly. It was designed by his architect friend Lord Wellesley.
The folly stands 100 feet high and was completed on the 5th November 1935.
The folly is now a popular local walking area.It has good access and is an excellent area for children and dogs.
On a clear day you get lovely views to the north across the thames valley and southwards to the berkshire downs.

The cache is a double lock box and contains an assortment of items and a log book.
