A cache along the Hillingdon Trail
The Hillingdon Trail is a 20 mile path through Hillingdon's countryside from Cranford in the south-east to Harefield in the north-west.
The walk passes through woods, fields, meadows, parks and open spaces. The route runs near to the rivers Crane and Colne; follows the towpath of the Grand Union Canal and the Paddington Arm of the canal; crosses the River Pinn; follows the Yeading Brook occasionally, crossing it several times; and the central section is near to the Canal Feeder in many places.
It’s a great walk, and from the cache location there is an impressive view over the canal and Black Jack’s Mill and Lock.
This cache is not your normal “Jo & Andrew” hiding method, and you will not have to detour off the Hillingdon Trail!
We suggest that you park at The Coy Carp pub at 51°36.594'N, 0°29.991'W, and take on other caches nearby.
