It is about .14 miles from the parking location as the duck flies. This area can be very muddy at times so be prepared.
I've thought this would be a good location for a cache for a long time. I came by on a cold fall day last year and enjoyed the many ducks. During the fishing season there are usually people around here but hopefully if you mind your business they will mind theirs.
I told my son this was going to be near a pond so he chose a lot of small animals that he said would either swim in a pond or would live near it. He wants people to trade for animals like that, but it isn't vital.
There is no access from the freeway, so don't even try!
