Southern part of east Maui located in the Kanaio lava fields. Great view, desolate location. Just off Hwy 37/31.
Rubbermaid clear container with a white top. Original contents log book, pen, turtle key chain, Godzilla TB #437116. Small turn out on southside of road. Faint trail in lava area from turnout. Behind lava clump under a bush.
Only road through area is hwy 37 that turns into 31. Landmark: Large lava cone to the SW from the parking area.
