While checking on the nearby Dam Cache # 13, I found this little Park/Boat launch. It has a State access road and free for all to enjoy. I was thinking about the Dam Caches By Wide Glide, Town History Series by Skytrek and decided to start one of my own, Kayak/Canoe launch sites.
You will be looking for a match holder located on a peninsula in the Lower Moodus Reservoir. It has a log sheet but no room for trades. There is plenty of parking and even a picnic table on your way in. Although what looks like a private driveway is a public right of way and is clearly posted by the D.E.P. Don’t forget you kayak.
Bring your own pencil.
