Geocache Description:

Cliff with a great sunset view.

Park on the east side of the road at N38 58.593 W120 59.168. There is no real trail here but in summer you might notice where other people have hiked up to the cliff. Follow the "trail" diagonally up the hill from your car. No need to go up the face of the cliff.

View from the cliff is down into clipper creek valley with digger and ponderosa pine. Great place for a picnic or a view of the sunset.

Be aware of poison oak, cliff drop offs, snakes. Avoid night hiking and hiking alone. We did see a Mountain Lion a half mile from here 5 years ago.

Cache is now an ammo box, since a bear ate the last box. Initial contents has a valentine's theme, but it is ok to trade non-valentine items.

No need to move the large rock in front of the cache. Lift cache straight up and when done tuck it back behind the rock. Cache is pretty close to the scenic area that many of my muggle neighbors enjoy. But non-caching visitors will be very infrequent.
