A nice kid friendly cache in a spot not too far out of town and a couple of other caches nearby. A short stroll from the nearest carpark and plenty of opportunity for picnics and a kick of the footy.
Take the time to wander around the Gisborne Botanic Gardens, across the creek and the wide open spaces, and then 'RAH!' there's a big scary monster. A while back Gisborne received this as a present from the other Gisborne, in New Zealand. It has stood here ever since, even without a head for a while after some local kids nicked it. But now it stands and watches proudly over it's sister city.
The cache is hidden very close by, and is a 500ml decor container.
