Geocache Description:

Very easy cache, you can drive right up to it.

A logbook, pencil, photo and a few small items are in this cache. At 4:57am on the morning of 6/28/92, the entire Hi-Desert was awoke by a huge 7.4 earthquake. The groung ruptured and shifted from Yucca Valley to Johnson Valley. If you are standing at this cache site and look down Reche Road you will see that the telephone poles are zig-zag. They used to be straight but now you see a straight line of poles then they offset to the south, and then they continue straight. I have a picture in this cache that shows a fence that did the same thing.
