Geocache Description:

To find this cache your hike will take you to Roque Ajache, from where you have spectacular and breathtaking views to parts of Barranco del Infierno and Barranco del Aqua.

The above coordinates (N 28° 08.162 W 016° 41.462) is your starting point. You should go only on a clear day – if you want to enjoy the views. The trip is a least 4 km´s and 2 hours, with an altitude difference of about 100 meters, but you can easily make it more difficult if you like.
If it’s possible to download waypoints to your GPS, you can find a list of the waypoints below - under "Additional Waypoints".

PARK your car at N 28° 08.116 W 016° 41.454 just outside the village Ifonche, on a side road to TF 51 between Arona and Villaflora.

Walk to the starting point, WP 1: N 28° 08.162 W 016° 41.462, and follow the path.

Then go to WP 2: N 28° 08.244 W 016° 41.508, a little away from the path.
What do you find here?
1. A large cactus = A = 1
2. A cave = A = 3
3. Neither a large cactus nor a cave = A = 5

Mark the correct answers at all waypoints – you do need them to find the cache.

Go back to the path and continue to WP 3: N 28° 08.357 W 016° 41.644.
What do you find here?
1. A electricity pylon = B = 5
2. A statue = B = 9
3. Neither a electricity pylon nor a statue = B = 0

Continue to WP 4: N 28° 08.320 W 016° 41.754.
What do you find here?
1. A palm = C = 2
2. A circular place = C = 1
3. Neither a palm nor a circular place = C = 6

In clear weather you can easily see La Gomera from here.

Continue to WP 5: N 28° 08.361 W 016° 41.774 along the edge of Barranco del Infierno.
What do you find here?
1. A palm = D = 8
2. A cactus = D = 0
3. Neither a palm nor a cactus = D = 1

Continue to WP 6: N 28° 08.154 W 016° 41.865.
On your way you will find a path down into the Barranco (N 28° 08.206 W 016° 41.817). It’s up to you, but, explore it as far as you like – before going back and uphill to WP 6.
What do you find at WP 6?
1. A stone wall = E = 2
2. A large stone split into two parts = E = 3
3. Neither a stone wall nor a large stone split into two parts = E = 7

Continue to WP 7: N 28° 08.078 W 016° 41.927.
What do you find here?
1. A small chapel = F = 5
2. A ruin = F = 2
3. Neither a small chapel nor a ruin = F = 8

Enjoy the views, see and listen to the waterfalls in Barranco del Infierno, and calculate the coordinates where you can find the cache.

From the cache you can enjoy views to Barranco del Aqua and Los Christianos.
