The Middle Tennessee Geocachers Club would like to invite all
cachers to come out for a Meet and Greet event at Henry Horton
State Park in Chapel Hill, Tennessee. We will be meeting in Shelter
1 which is more often called "the shelter by the bridge". We try to
move the meetings around the midstate and this will be the
southernmost meeting for this year.
If you are not familiar with the MTGC, here is a little
information this diverse and fun group. The Middle Tennessee
Geocachers Club welcomes all adventure seeking Geocachers to join
in on the fun of Geocaching in Middle Tennessee! We welcome you to
join our club, and be a part of a neat and diverse group of fellow
cachers. We meet approximately every 6 weeks to discuss the latest
happenings in the “caching world”, and to learn more about the
sport.
Of course you do not need to be a member to attend a meeting, so
come on out and join us for an afternoon of fun and fellowship, it
is a great opportunity to put faces with the names you see in the
logbooks and to get to hang out with folks who love this great
sport.
As always, we will be holding a mini-clinic after the meeting to
answer any questions you might have about some of the more
technical aspects of geocaching, from paperless caching to
averaging waypoints and everything in between. Come loaded with
questions and we will try to give plausible (and hopefully correct)
answers. If you have anything in particular you would like to see
covered mention it in your logs or send an email to any of the
officers, and we will try to make sure someone is there who can
answer your questions.
