Jackson Rendezvous II Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Wing It: Well, folks, it has been 3 weeks since the event. Time to put this baby to sleep. I had a great time and hope everyone else did as well. We will be looking for a larger venue for next year. Looks like all the bugs were accounted for again this year which makes me very happy. [:D] Well, except for that Come and Get Me, MaxB TB. Hmmmm, wonder where it is. Anyone going to pick it up from the event? Uh oh, I hope it did not get thrown out with all the fakes laying around! Maybe Maxine has is and doesn't even know it. [:)]

Geocache Description:

This will be the second annual Jackson Rendezvous meet and greet in Jackson on Saturday, March 18, 2006. Sorry about the short notice on this but I was not even sure I would be able to hold the event due to our schedule.

Here's your chance to come and meet all those people that keep beating you to those cool TB's and First To Find's! Maybe the winter's been too cold or there's been too much snow to do much caching but you can warm yourself with the company of friends and shared stories. Bring a smile and a story and anticipate having fun.

Since this is the day after St. Patricks Day, plan to wear some green or have some other way to celebrate the Irish in all of us. I plan to wear the kilt, so hopefully it won't be too cold out.

We are going to meet at Hudson's Classic Grill in Jackson at 12 noon. The address is 2900 Springport Road and the phone number there is 517-784-4773. This is a family restaurant and everyone is welcome. The above coordinates are on the corner that Hudson's sits on. The easiest way to get there is to take I-94 to the Airport Road exit on the west side of Jackson and go north about a half mile; the restaurant is on the northeast corner. Please post a note if you think you are coming and how many you are so I can give the Hudson's staff an idea. Hope to hear from you and see you there.
