Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed to commemorate the 5th anniversary of geocaching in Tasmania.

Jerry Medlin, on a visit from Napa, California placed North Tassie, Tasmania's very first cache in February, 2001. To this day, it has been found 51 times - and it is still in excellent condition!

Jerry has kindly given permission for this '5th anniversary' cache to carry the title of "North Tassie - #2"

It is recommended that good soled shoes be worn, as the last few metres might get a little slippery, especially in winter.
