Geocache Description:

A short level walk or cycle from Wadebridge towards Bodmin on the Camel Trail.

Parking is available in Wadebridge, as are public transport, toilets, refreshments etc. You can hire a bike in Wadebridge if you wish to cycle rather than walk. Rugged buggies and wheelchairs will be able to get to the cache site.

This cache is hidden in a place where trains only stopped upon receiving written authority from the army. It came into use about 1880, when soldiers came down form Bodmin Barracks to use the field as a shooting range, but there aren't any trains here now. The nearest trains are on the Bodmin & Wenford Railway.

The cache is a small rectangular plastic clip & lock box. Depending on how busy the trail is, some stealth may be required. Please take care to leave the cache well hidden.
