TOUCHDOWN! It gets hot in the summer and not much shade so bring lots of water or come early and enjoy the morning mist. Some people may not come up here if not for the caches but once you hike up here we hope you will want to come back just to hike it. **Please fight to protect and preserve footpaths, preserve the natural areas that surround them, and promote hiking itself. Hiking and caching? What could be more fun?
LARGE container: Log, pen and geostash. One on the side of the road, no bushwacking required at least when we hid it it didn't. PLEASE COVER IT WELL IT'S LARGE! Don't let them find this one.........
Take the I-210 to Windsor/Arroyo exit, go North. Park at the parking lot on the left just as the road makes a sharp right turn. After parking you will see the fence to walk thru with the trail signs, take that road (not the one down). When the road comes to a Y follow the trail signs and take the road to the right you should be on the Brown Mtn. Rd/El Prieto Trail. When you come to another split with a trail sign at approx. 34 12.657/118 10.125 from there you DO NOT take the Brown Mtn. Trail. You take the road (trail) to the left. You are on your way to the cache. Have fun caching. Be careful and be aware and watch for snakes.
