Quartzite Town Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Tn cacher: Greetings from Geocaching.com.

It looks like your cache has been under the weather for some time. While we feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. So that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
If you are in the process of replacing or repairing your cache please e-mail me in response to this archival, and I will unarchive your cache.
After we posted a note to you cache requesting a response from you to post what you were planning to do with the cache on the page and sending us a note. We have no record of a response, and no response tells us that you are not planning on replacing, or repairing this cache if we are wrong with that assumption please let me know.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.

Geocache Description:

Long forgotten history of Polk County and little known spots.

Stage 1 is a micro cache 35mm film cannister. Very easy if you don't overthink it. It will bring hints to the remaining stages' areas if you look closely. It is a high Muggle area so be on guard for passing cars as you will be in plain view. You will get the coordinates for Stage 2.

Stage 2 is a medium sized tupperware container with room for small trade items. You don't have to be adventurous to find Stage 2, just careful. Steep incline and slick leaves so bring that hiking stick. (If you are adventurous bring a helmet, clothes you don't care to get dirty and a good light and some nerve. Claustrophobics need not apply). You will get the coordinates for Stage 3.

Stay on the trail, it is public property, DO NOT CROSS THE CREEK. It is fenced anyways and posted. There is a house trailer very near the cache on the other side of the creek. Don't let them see what you are doing as it could get muggled, This place is mostly only known to outdoors people called SP*******S. The people in the trailer are probably used to them coming in and out and will assume that is what you are there for. Again it is located on public property. The parking area gathers trash sometimes. I put garbage bags in the cache if you would like to CACHE IN AND TRASH OUT. Thanks in advance.

Stage 3 is a large ammo can surrounded by plenty of history. History that is little known even to local people. Look carefully at all that lies around you. There is neat things around the dead tree, stump and log. Once you find the cache and read you will know this little town that time forgot. Large box full of trade goodies and can hold travel bugs. Have fun and enjoy.

I am big on pictures in my geocaching, please post pics, but no spoilers please.
