Wow - a lot has happened since we did
this last year!! A bunch of new cachers are on the scene and they
have really taken the bull by the horns and made fools of some of
us with some great caches. And of course the old regulars are
getting more and more creative with their challenging caches! And
look how many are over the 1000 (or even 2000) mark!!
This event cache will give everyone an opportunity to meet old
friends and make new friends, tell unlikely stories about their
caching experiences to like minded people as well as to recover
from the excesses of trying to be FTF on the Third Annual April
Fools Joke cache which will actually go live at one minute past
midnight on April 1st, 2006. Since April 1st
is a Saturday this year we expect the competition to be fiercer
ever before.
We have the upstairs room of the (kid friendly) "Earl of Whitchurch" in the centre of
Stouffville booked from 6:00pm (yes, they are going
to allow us back). This will give us lots of time before the band
takes over in this room at about 10pm. Pub food and the usual
assortment of beverages are served of course.
You are welcome to stay for the music which starts at 10pm if
you would like - or you may want to go out and do some night
caching in the area. The downstairs area of the pub should be
available later and will be quieter if anyone wants to stay and
visit with other cachers.
A special April Fool Challenge! Bring along any embarrassing
stories or photos of foolish cachers or caching to share with
everyone
