Geocache Description:

"Even more Itchen".... as in "Even more Itchen to get back to the Pub"!!!

Last year, I placed "Itchen to get back to the Pub" (GCMJYQ) for the 2005 Winchester Late Xmas Cache Bash.... so THIS cache got placed for the 2006 bash!!! And , of course, everyone who came along wants to be able to log it!

Not too surprisingly, it's not all that far from last year's, and if you plan to do BOTH, then I'd recommend doing GCMJYQ *FIRST* and *THEN* do this one! In both cases, you should start from the public path, just opposite the Cart & Horses pub in Kingsworthy.

Unlike lst year's cache, which had one bit that was rather a stinker, thus one is really simple... it would have been a 1/1 but for the fact that a large part of the track is rather narrow and muddy, and not at all suitable for *anything* with wheels on.

Please cover the cache well when you replace it.

If you walk on another couple of hundred yards, you'll come to the two bridges that take the A33/A34 over the River Itchen. This is the "Three Castles Path" that follows the southern side of the River Itchen from the Abbots Worthy area down to WInchester.

Another cache, now called "A Tiny Itchen" (GCTA70), was placed as a "bonus cache" to this one, at the 2006 Cache-Bash. It's only 3 or 4 minutes walk up the path, by the bridges mentioned above, so why not do it after you've found this one?
